Our goal is to remain the most important bluegrass event in Europe, attracting top artists from Europe and the USA. To achieve this we have to continue to offer them and our audience the best playing and human environment possible.

We are a volunteer organisation with over 200 people giving up more or less of their time, talent and energy to ensure the smooth operation of the festival.
Our volunteers are a key success factor for us and we get rave reviews about their efficiency and their warm welcome - they always keep smiling even in moments of high stress.
There can never be too many of us and we welcome anyone over the age of 16 from near and far.

​There are a variety of workstations where volunteers can work.  You can choose where and when you want to work. Volunteers generally do 4-hour shifts and they receive the distinctive volunteer tee shirt, a free festival beaker and meal vouchers.
​Artist liaison - Drivers; Band reception; Backstage support; Instrument check; Artist accommodation reception; Street festival team; 
Food & Beverage - Food preparation; Food cooking; Food service; Bar service; Champagne bar service; VIP bar service; Crepe service; Dessert bar service
Site Operations - Preparing and dismantling the site before and after; maintenance and running repairs; signage around town; managing the campsite

​We are fortunate to have a number of institutions, organisations, enterprises and individuals who have chosen to support us in various ways, either by donating funds directly or through an exchange of services.
We wish to thank those in particular who have renewed or initiated their support in 2022 after two years away due to the pandemic.
​Knowing we had your support has been particularly important for us during the preparation of the festival this year.

We offer packages starting from €3,000 with a variety of options to match the contribution, from associating your name with a band, to having naming rights to one of the festival sites (Vivendi VIP Tent), to sponsoring a band from Europe or the USA, including the possibility of a private concert for your company clients or staff.
All packages include access to the Vivendi Tent for partners and guests with meals and champagne, your company logo in the programme, on banners next to the stage and beside the entrance to the Vivendi Tent.

Our Patrons Club is a way for local businesses to become involved in their festival for a reasonable investment by taking advantage of the government's fiscal stimulus to support cultural events (60% of the contribution is deductable from the business's corporate tax bill, so if you give €500, the real cost to your company is €200).

We offer pacakges for local businesses to become partners with the festival for contributions from €250 to €1,000. In exchange your company logo will appear on the Patrons Banner next to the stage and next to the entrance to the Vivendi VIP Tent, and you and your guests will have access to the Vivendi Tent with meal vouchers and champagne.

Local, national and international press coverage of the festival is important for us. We appreciate your contribution and we commit to help those who wish to cover the festival in a professional way.

Accredited members of the press receive a “Press” Pass that gives access to the Vivendi VIP Area to meet and speak with artists, organisers and partners of the festival.
To receive accreditation, please fill in the form using the button links at the foot of this page, and return it as directed.
Your Press Pass, if confirmed, will be available in the Information Chalet on arrival.
In exchange we ask that you share the results of your work with the festival.
The festival market village is located along the access route to the site. With over 15,000 people coming into the site over 4 days, there are lots of potential customers looking for quality, crafted products

As well as standard music festival produce, we like to promote environmentally friendly products, made to high quality standards by local and regional artisans.
We also have a luthiers hall and we welcome luthiers who make beautiful hand crafted Bluegrass instruments from all over the world.
Please note that we run the food and beverage as our primary source of income, so we do not accept food and drink concessions apart from some sealed food products sold for consumption offsite.

If you are not in a position to become an official partner and you don't want, or are unable, to volunteer it is still possible help the festival by becoming an active member of the association.

​ For a contribution of your choice (minimum 10 euros), you can become an active member of the association.
​The first 100 people who join each year may choose one CD from the fine selection provided by our partner Vivendi from their excellent catalogue of contemporary and traditional Bluegrass music.
